the extreme south of the Sahara in Niger live Toubou, a nation of nomadic herders. Their life in this unforgiving desert obeys simple rituals and immutable. The camel men and women stay at home. But every year, everything changes for women Toubous with the departure of the caravan! Grandmothers of the younger women of the tribe's journey of four months more than 1500 km across the Sahara, in the heat, dust and sand storms to go pick some dates and sell them to the "city ".
